Mythology themed episode on Dance Bangla Dance Junior 10

Period dramas and mythology based shows are trending on the television screen these days. On one hand, serials like ‘Rani Rashmani’ and ‘Jagat Janani Maa Sarada’ are very popular among the viewers.
On the other, we have ‘Mahakali’, ‘Shani’ and other serials which are based on mythology. According to sources, another serial ‘Maheshwar’ on Lord Shiva is about to hit the Bengali television screen soon.

Keeping the trend of mythological shows alive, the dance reality show, ‘Dance Bangla Dance Junior 10’, has a special episode on mythology, too. The kids, who are participating in the show, would be seen performing on some of the popular tunes in the costumes of mythological characters. The show is judged by popular actors Jisshu Sengupta, Srabanti Chatterjee and Ankush Hazraha.

The judges of the dance reality show had a blast while shooting for the episode of ‘Dance Bangla Dance Junior 10’. They had a fun time when the participants talked about their experience during rehearsal and make up. In the soon to be aired episode, children can be seen in the ‘avatars’ of ‘Lord Krishna’, ‘Maa Kali’, ‘Durga’ and others.
The dance reality show recently had a special episode on late Bollywood actress Sridevi after her demise. It was a tribute to the actress. According to the industry sources, the episode was loved by the audience. To boost the viewership, the popular theme of mythology was also kept on the menu. It remains to be seen if it works for the viewers or not.
