Make sure your tiles are dust-free just like you do with your carpet or laminate, for example. Take the vacuum cleaner and remove the fabric from the ceramic tiles several times a week.
Remove Stains Directly From The Floor

It is important to remove stains directly from the ceramic tiles. Do not leave a fallen glass with cola or a plate of soup on the ceramic tiles for a few minutes. In the case of laminate, it can be withdrawn, give a stain in the carpet and, with ceramic tiles, discolour and stain.

The stains and especially if it contains caustic ingredients such as lemon or ketchup can give it a discolored spot on the tile.

It is best to wipe the stain as quickly as possible with a piece of kitchen paper. If the stain itself is gone, it is best to treat the spot afterwards with a mild but effective cleaning spray such as Dettol Hygienic Multi-Cleaner Spray.

You can always use this medicine but is strongly advised if meat has fallen on the floor. Bacteria can work on the ceramic tile.
Cleaning Ceramic Tiles With Water

If you do not see marks on the ceramic tiles, you can easily clean with some warm water and a simple mop. This is best done weekly after the fabric has been extracted from the ceramic tiles.

Ceramic Tile (joints) Outside Cleaning

Ceramic tiles that are outside are subject to different circumstances. Ceramic tiles in the house have to do with a different kind of dirt.

Especially the joints can become extra dirty outside.

For the surface of the tiles and tile joints you can use the above methods 'Ammonia: Dirty Ceramic Tiles Deep Cleaning' or 'Cleaning Ceramic Tiles with Vinegar'. But to protect the joints properly, more is needed.

Now we are going to concentrate on the joints of the ceramic tiles that are outside.

For example, you can use the HG Add Protector - € 16.35 . You can not only use it outside, but it is also suitable for impregnating the joints of the ceramic tiles in the kitchen or bathroom.

You need the following to use the joint protector:
Tassel;
Pipette (included with the HG Add Protector);
Cloth.

You can use it as follows.

Step 1: Make sure the ceramic tiles and joints are clean and free of grease. Allow the tile joints to dry properly. Wait about 12 hours after cleaning before you start using the joint protector.

Step 2: Apply the joint protector with the supplied pipette.

You can also use a brush. Make sure there are no loose hairs in the brush. Rub with your hand over the brush to get any loose hair out. This way it does not end up in the impregnation joints.

Step 3: Remove the joint protector with a damp cloth from the ceramic tile itself (not the joints, of course).

Step 4: After about 30 hours the grout protector will be sufficiently cured to clean and keep clean again.
