Best Hollywood Movies of 2019

The year 2019 was very fruitful for quality films. Dozens of pictures have been created that, when you play, you will not regret the time devoted to them. Especially the end of the year was fertile in terms of film premieres. We chose ten pictures from 2019 that we think are worth seeing.

1. Joker

The comic thriller, directed by Todd Phillips, tells of the comedian Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), who wants to be a famous stand-up artist, but unfortunately is more of a cry than a laugh. Life in a cruel world and the sick mother she lives with and cares for do not pour energy into his veins either. One day he would say enough, pick up his weapon and act. And Arthur becomes the icon of the Joker crime.

2. Back in Hollywood

Quentin Tarantino introduced another of his masterpieces in 2019 (he directed and wrote the script). This time he had two beautiful Hollywood beauties - Brad Pitt and Leonard DiCaprio. Leo portrays a B-type western actor who is afraid of extinguishing fame, Brad is a stuntman who jumps for him in dangerous scenes. Above all, however, he is his only friend who always hears him. Along with this delightful story, a brutal preparation for the murder of pregnant Sharon Tate, an actress who was actually killed in Manson's family in 1969, takes place. Tarantino has a unique vision of the world that when you accept it, you will enjoy this poetic film very much.

3. Parasite

A black comedy from South Korea directed by Dune Pono in 2019 vibrated the film world. The film follows a poor family who infiltrates the wealthy household of Parker. They starred in Kang-ho Song, Seon-gyun Lee and Yeo-Jeong Cho.
4. Marital history
What does the 21st century divorce of a young couple look like? This is the answer to the drama Marital History with Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver in the lead roles. The film was made by director Noah Baumbach.

5. Ircan

The incredible 209-minute-long crime director Martin Scorsese with Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci starring on Netflix. The Mafia story is based on the biographical book Irish or So You Paint Quaternaries written by attorney and attorney Charles Brandt based on the life of his client, gangster Frank Sheeran.

6. Le Mans '66

Fast cars, a biographical drama, Matt Damon and Christian Bale, this is James Mangold's Le Mans '66 movie. The story describes how Ford tried to defeat Ferrari in the 1966 Le Mans race. For this, he used both inventive designers and intrepid competitors.

7. Two Popes

The conversational drama was filmed by director Fernando Meirelles, streaming on Netflix. The leading roles were Anthony Hopkins and Jonathan Pryce, who portrayed Pope Benedict XVI and his successor Francis while talking about faith, but not only about it.

8. Avengers: Endgame

9. Rocketman

A film about Elton John's life was made by Dexter Fletcher. In two hours you can look behind the scenes of one of the most successful musicians of all time. Starring Taron Egerton, Richard Madden or Bryce Dallas Howard.
